Romance drama film that is still considered a classic cult romance movie. However, the hero is presently tagged as a big glaring ‘red flag’ and the movie did not age well. But, the actors did phenomenally well on their parts, and some of its songs, dialogues, and scenes have become timeless. Rehna Hai Terre Dil Me is a 2001 film about Rajeev, who, on one rainy night falls in love with a beautiful woman dancing joyously on the streets with kids. This young lad named Maddy aka Rajeev (R. Madhavan), decides to woo her love interest, but when he finds out that she is soon going to be engaged with an NRI— he impersonates him till the time he arrives. Unbeknownst to the truth, Reena falls in love with this young bright man who she thinks is the real Rajeev. Later on, when the truth is revealed, the sky falls (on the three of them, of course!).
